What are Data layers?

Data layers are structured organization of data that allows for efficient management, discovery, and use or exploitation of the datasets and resources.

The CHORIZO FLW datahub and “Insighter” is structured in three data layers:

Data layer 1:- Comprehensive Overview of Actions to Prevent and Reduce Food Loss and Waste (FLW) in the EU and UK
Data layer 2:- Evidence from CHORIZO Project Case Studies on Social Norms and Food Loss and Waste Behavior
Data layer 3:- FLW “Insighter”

These data layers contain the resources generated within the CHORIZO project. These resources have been aggregated and shared as a “Status Report” on various platforms such as ZENODO (Search CHORIZO Project (zenodo.org)) and the European Commission Food Loss and Waste Prevention hub (European Food Loss and Waste Prevention Hub - Detail of a Resource (europa.eu)).
